						Not only has Troy won
Round 1 of the Speedcar Super Series, the $2000 cash
prize, the admiration of speedway fans in Murray Bridge
and the respect from his fellow drivers; he has also
adopted the rightly named Feature Winner ‘Giant Cheque’!
Yes, at the grand size of 1200mm x 450mm, Giant Cheque
has become the number 1 must-have on the national SSS
and is set to go “straight to the pool room” with any
fortunate winner lucky enough to escort ‘Giant Cheque’
						home.

A proud part of the Speedcar Super Series, Giant Cheque
made the expedition from sunny Sydney to magnificent
Murray Bridge with class. Despite a lengthy debate with
a flight attendant on downgrading him to baggage and
possible terrorism action at the departure gate; Giant
Cheque travelled with style in the overhead luggage
compartment aboard an early morning Qantas flight. With
just under two hours to contemplate his future home,
Giant Cheque sat back and relaxed knowing too well it
would be that of a worthy feature winner!

						Living it up at
						Sydney Airport
						On arrival in Adelaide,
Giant Cheque braved the cold and headed out to his
rental car where he was instantly accosted for photos
with his Hertz Rental fans before his short trip to
Murray Bridge as the rain came down. (Murray Bridge
promotions worked as the Speedcar Super Series race
meeting was recognised from recent newspaper articles!).

						But as everything Giant
Cheque touches turns to $2,000 prize money, the sun was
soon shining & Giant Cheque and his SSS escorts were
able to take in the sights and happenings of Murray
Bridge, including the lookout from one side of the
						Murray River to the Speedway.

						Looking across the
						river to Murray Bridge Speedway
						Returning to the
Riverview Speedway after lunch, Giant Cheque and his
three mates 1st, 2nd and 3rd from the Trophy family,
waited out the cold in the media box before heading to
the infield to watch the spectacular show unfold.

						Only hours later, Giant
Cheque was handed over to his new owner before a chilly
Murray Bridge crowd. Giant Cheque 2 is now under lock
and key awaiting Round 2 at Timmis Speedway Mildura on
						Nov 11th.

						Be sure to head to
