						Giant cheque has been at
it again! Last Saturday night, round 2 of the Speedcar
Super Series was run and won at Timmis Speedway, Vic
where Giant Cheque made blatant attempts to steal the
limelight from A Main victor Dene McAllan and the
						McAllan Motorsports team!

Giant Cheque’s day had started hours earlier; a
chauffeured trip to the airport, celebrity attention
which rivalled Kylie’s return to Australia, nervous
glances and stares of awe as he was ceremoniously
carried through check in, received a gentle frisk by the
men securing Australia and it was off to the Qantas Club
to showcase the new Speedcar Super Series T’shirt and
grab a quick nap before the excitement began.

						Knowing full well his
entourage were keeping their eyes on him, Giant Cheque
mischievously devised a plan to meet up with his cousin
in South Australia from the SA vs Vic Modified
Production Challenge (also from the $2000 Cheque
family). With time constraints for travelling from
Adelaide to Mildura, Giant Cheque headed to the cock
pit, made a deal with the pilot (“Speedcars are low
flying aircraft, this will be nothing”) and took control
of the plane landing in record time.

A short drive and a few
incorrect turns later, Giant Cheque (not one to miss a
photo opportunity) yelled out “Woo Hoo! I’ve made it”.
Posing with Mod Prod driver Andy and his $2000 Mini
cousin from the SA v VIC Mod Prod Challenge (10th & 11th
March), Giant Cheque soaked up the praise before hitting
the road straight to Timmis Speedway.

						Reaching the track, Giant
Cheque was soon surrounded by some of his fans from the
Mildura Speedway Kids Club. Launched at the ‘06 Annual
Mildura Show with over 180 members, Giant Cheque posed
for a quick photo before the kids moved on to meet
Speedcar stars Troy Jenkins and Mark Brown!

						With fierce competition
to reach the desired number one position, Giant Cheque
						(feeling a little left out) was under immense pressure;
crying out to the mesmerised Mildura fans “Come on
people, we know Dene’s good looking but I have 2000 big
ones!!”. Sensing Giant Cheque's pain, Dene; a deserved A
Main winner, cuddled his newest crew member and welcomed
						him to the McAllan fold.

						Who will win Giant Cheque
						#3 at Avalon Raceway, 18 Nov 2006?

						See you there! |
