Warning Sydney… Keep an eye out for South Australian duo of Rick McKay and Bert Fenton last seen leaving Salisbury North. (northern suburb of Adelaide) The duo left Adelaide today (Thursday) and are bound for Tyrepower Parramatta City Raceway for the opening round of the Speedcar Super Series, this weekend.

If you see this pair of 'Speedway Nuts' on their travels be sure to stay away unless you want to talk about Speedcars! Do not approach them unless you are a mad keen Speedway fan! Any attempts to talk about anything other than Speedway will be dealt with severely!

This is a big season for the small team from Adelaide as they embark on chasing the big boys of Australian Speedcar racing all over the country side (New South Wales, Victoria, Queensland, Western Australia and home state South Australia), taking in all the rounds of the Speedcar Super Series and as many other major events as possible, including the QLD Title, SA Title, Australian Title and re-scheduled Figs Race in WA.

Rick’s son, John McKay will drive the Fenton family owned SA46 Nissan powered Stealth in this his rookie season of Speedcar racing and is more than looking forward to the task that awaits him this weekend at TPCR.

While the ‘Good ol boys’ Rick and Bert travel along the highway John will fly into Sydney on Saturday. If you see them at the track a friendly chat over a cold Beer or three after the meeting will await anybody wanting to come up and say G’day. Anybody offering John a Mars Bar and water will become an instant life time buddy!
