Following the overwhelming success of the Speedcar Super Series over the last three seasons, plans are well underway for another sensational competition in 2008-2009 with the full schedule to be announced in upcoming weeks.

Though it will be a while before the entire contracted field is announced, this season there is every possibility that the number of contracted SSS starters will be increased with plenty of drivers already expressing their interest to participate in the series, including up and comers NSW’s Anthony Brien and QLD’s Brendan Palmer!

Current SSS Champion Mark Brown has advised SSS delegates he will be back to defend his SSS crown along with Sydney stars Troy Jenkins and Peter Bourke, South Australian John McKay and Victoria's Peter Ghent. These drivers are already making plans to compete in the new season before the request for contracted drivers has been made!
