The fourth round of the Speedcar Super Series gets underway at Geelong's Avalon Raceway, Victoria next Saturday night, December 20th after three spectacular showdowns in Queensland!

With two SSS feature wins credited to his name, Mark Brown leads the pack in the overall championship ahead of New South Wales' Mark Cooper and Queensland's Grant Draney; a championship rich with quality drivers from around the country and New Zealand.

"The Queenslanders have stepped up to the plate this season with four of their seven drivers in the top ten in the SSS point score" said the eager SSS Director Ken Jenkins, “but now we move out of their territory and into Peter Ghent's. He should be really strong this round as we're heading back to his home track".

Avalon Raceway and promoter Jeff Drew have been avid supporters of the SSS since it's inception, a circuit where many of the contracted drivers already have valuable track time with previous SSS rounds and the Australian Grand Prix.

"We really hope the Victorian's come out to support this race, we have it on good authority that ex club and Victorian state Champion Troy Jordan will be racing and hope to see plenty of other locals competing. We are also expecting a few extra cars from NSW so this will be another excellent race meeting at Avalon!”

Likewise with $2000 prize money on offer for the feature winner, it’s anyone’s guess who will take out round four from a standout line-up of Speedcar superstars from across the country.
